The A= Apple Society is intending to organize a cycling contest with a theme “RIDE FOR GREEN”cum awareness programme on preserving a natural Environment of two days in Nongstoin.
The Contest will be scheduled on October, 2014, the exact date and time will be announce soon... so be prepared.

The environment is constantly in the news and it is also becoming a hot
topic in schools, villages and throughout the world. The environmental awareness of
children is therefore something that is becoming increasingly important –
something that many people feel is a significant factor for the future
of the planet. There are various different things that teachers and
parents can do to help a child to understand the impact that humans have
on the world.
Environmental awareness campaigns are most successful when targeted to specific groups or populations. Many people don't pay much attention to environmental problems because they don't understand how the problem would affect them or their lifestyle.
So the mission of the A=Apple Society was to educate the youth and helped to "convert" people who normally wouldn't have paid much attention to environmental problems so by conducting a two days awareness programme it will create an awareness how to preserve the natural environment which suround us.
